A club lounge takes up room, so it has to give something back. This one seats four around a drop-down table, converts to a spare bed when family comes to stay, and hides lift-up storage under both seat bases. Vista windows wrap the corner beside it, and a 24" smart TV sits on an arm that pulls out and turns to face you when the weather keeps you inside. After a long day of driving, it makes a comfortable spot to sit and plan the next leg.

Cooking on the road falls apart when the bench is too small. The SRT-22 runs a full-length bench down the offside with a 2-zone induction cooktop, a 224L Thetford compressor fridge and a convection microwave set at eye level, so you're not crouching to check on dinner. The cooktop runs off the 48V system. Deep drawers replace cupboards where it counts, on soft-close runners that stay shut over corrugations. A slimline rangehood pulls the steam out before it can settle, and LED strip lighting under the overhead lockers lights the bench properly, so you can see what you’re doing while you cook.

The 48V system is the reason this caravan keeps going when the ones around it start looking for a powered site. Running at 48V instead of 12V means less power is lost on the way through the wiring, so more of what the roof collects actually reaches the battery. There's 950W of solar feeding a 48V 10kWh lithium battery, managed by a BMPro Autory system engineered for Snowy River. A 4000W inverter runs the microwave and the washing machine without anyone starting a generator. Check the state of charge on the panel inside the door. Plug into 240V when you're back in town, or charge off the tow vehicle on the way to the next spot.

The ensuite runs the full width of the rear, with a separate shower cubicle, a Dometic ceramic toilet, and a vanity with enough room to put your things down on. A 3.5kg top-load washing machine sits alongside it, plumbed to the freshwater tanks, so a fortnight out bush doesn't turn into a fortnight in the same clothes. Instant gas hot water heats as it flows, so whoever showers second gets water just as hot as the first. Plus, a diesel heater warms the caravan throughout, so stepping out of the shower is just as cosy as standing under it.
